The Funny Business of Being Tina Fey: Constructing a (feminist) comedy icon

Since her appointment as head writer on Saturday Night Live in the fall of 1999, Tina Fey has enjoyed unprecedented success as a writer, creator, and performer, in a genre notorious for favoring male-oriented fare and its attendant male writers and performers. The press surrounding her various film, television, and literary projects provides a unique opportunity to consider how Fey has worked with reporters to construct her public reputation as a successful woman working in comedy. Based on a Lexis-Nexis search of major English-language newspapers worldwide dating from Fey's appointment as head writer on Saturday Night Live in September 1999 through to the release of her best-selling book Bossypants in April 2011, this analysis finds that Fey employs a complex mix of self-deprecating and somewhat aggressive humor to answer reporter questions about topics ranging from her personal grooming habits and myriad talents to the treatment of women in the male-dominated business of comedy.     

宋代石窟舞蹈形象研究——大足石刻的典型性舞蹈造像

大足石刻是最具代表性的宋代石窟艺术,它集建筑、舞蹈、美术、音乐等元素于一体,既受宗教仪规和量制的限制,又受时代精神、审美趣味和风俗礼仪等因素的影响,是宋代造型艺术的代表。深入研究大足石刻所蕴含的舞蹈造型,不仅可以挖掘重庆本土的舞蹈资源,丰富大足艺术研究舞蹈领域的薄弱,同时对研究宋代舞蹈的审美价值及史学意义大有裨益。文章以大足宋代石窟中的"六师外道谤佛不孝"、"春龙起蜇图"及"帝释天与阿修罗战"三座石窟舞蹈造型为例,运用形式分析法、比较研究法和文化人类学等方法,挖掘大足石刻中舞蹈形象特征、语汇表达、表现形式及艺术审美取向,从艺术遗产、艺术创作的角度研究其重要     

首发新股的中签率、逆向选择和初始收益

运用1999-2003年来自上海证券交易所的267只A股首次公开发行股票(IPOs)数据实证考察了Rock模型.与Rock(1986)的逆向选择理论一致,中签率与初始收益负相关.虽然平均初始收益为130.63%,但无信息投资者获得了接近于0的初始收益0.265%.无信息投资者获得的初始收益不仅受到发行前就已知的市场收益的影响,而且受到二级市场换手率的影响.文章发现:二级配售这种发行方式阻碍了逆向选择现象的出现.     

Statistical analysis of rock-burst events in underground mines and excavations to present reasonable data-driven predictors

Rock bursts are sudden and violent failures of surrounding rockmasses in underground mines and excavations. In this paper, a database consisting of 188 case histories was collected. Each case history contains some of the predictor variables ‘overburden thickness, maximum tangential stress, uniaxial compressive strength of rock, tensile strength of rock, stress ratio, brittleness ratio and elastic energy index’ and one of the four defined classes for the dependent variable ‘rock burst intensity’. A strategy, including ‘outlier detection and substitution, normality evaluation, deduction of distribution functions, estimation of mean and mean variation ranges, evaluation of mean-equality and distribution function-equality hypotheses, correlation analysis and factor analysis for in-review variables’, was implemented. The strategy led to conclude that some predictor variables with available case histories have no contributions for rock burst prediction. These inferences were in accordance with the results of regression techniques for qualitative dependent variables. Besides, many predictor variable arrangements were incompatible with factor analysis. In the case of compatible arrangements, the variation of the predictor variables cannot be considerably reflected. Application of nonlinear principal component analysis using auto-associative neural networks did not also lead to representative components. Therefore, the significant predictor variables can only be used to design new classifiers.

吴兴祚三海岩诗刻小考

钦州三海岩今存康熙年间两广总督吴兴祚师生唱和诗刻四首。该石刻位于三海岩月岩右壁,距今已有330年,保存完好。结合实物文献与典籍文献,对其背景、作者、诗刻书法及文学价值进行考释。所存四首石刻诗歌皆为五律,诗意灵动清幽;又兼诗刻书法行草相间,字迹秀美飘逸,具有较高的文学价值、书法价值和历史文物价值。
